Hilari Graff, President
A seasoned communications professional with more than two decades of experience, Hilari Graff has spent her career in the travel public relations arena with a diverse range of clients that span luxury hotels and resorts, tour operators, agency consortia, tourism associations and hospitality organizations. More than half her career has been dedicated to promoting the treasures of the Caribbean to travel trade and consumer press. Her expertise covers editorial services and content development, creation of White Papers and native ads, writing website copy, implementing and moderating webinars, media relations, press trip organization, social media, promotions, conference and event management, corporate communications and crisis management.
Before launching HDG Communications in 2014, Hilari spent five years as the PR & Communications Manager at Strategic Vision where she was responsible for executing the communications strategy, incorporating public relations, marketing and consultancy, for a series of global luxury travel clients including The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, Greaves Tours in India, and The World ship. Among her many successes, Hilari secured over $1 million in PR exposure for a single client in less than two years. In addition, she launched and managed Strategic Vision’s social media platform, developed content for the company website, and created e-blasts positioning the company president as a luxury industry expert.
Prior to Strategic Vision, Hilari worked from 1991 through 2008 with KTCpr, a boutique public relations agency specializing in travel. Rising from an entry-level position to accounts director, Hilari headed up several high-profile accounts in the Caribbean (including Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada, Mango Bay in Barbados, La Cabana Beach & Racquet Club in Aruba, and Almond Beach Resorts), Mexico and Asia, resulting in extensive print, digital and broadcast placements.
In addition to her extensive travel experience, Hilari writes feature articles, website copy and newsletters for non-travel clients, successfully sharing their stories to their target audiences.
